Eila Macqueen, Director
Eila's background is in the museums sector, having worked in Glasgow, Caithness, Argyll and Northern Ireland advising local museums and gaining experience of working with voluntary groups, collections management and managing change. As Director of Arc Scot, she is responsible for the day-to-day running of the organisation and for liaison with a wide range of interests including local and national government to advocate the needs of archaeology and the historic environment. Ruth Bordoli, Outreach Officer
The Outreach Officer is responsible for Archaeology Scotland’s Volunteer Outreach Project. This project is a new initiative offering free archaeology workshops to mainstream schools, special schools and community groups in Midlothian with the help of a team of trained volunteers. Rebecca Boyde, YAC (Scotland) Officer (part-time)

Meg Faragher, Education Officer
Meg has a background in education and heritage. She is responsible for Archaeology Scotland’s Education and Outreach. She works at a strategic level to raise the profile of archaeology within formal learning and runs the outreach programme aimed at increasing access to archaeology within communities. Dr Mags McCartney, Communications Officer

Dr Paula Milburn, Bibliographic Enhancement Officer
Paula has a background in environmental archaeology and has over 10 years experience of working in the commercial field as a palaeoenvironmental consultant. Paula edits Archaeology Scotland's annual journal, Discovery and Excavation in Scotland (DES) and manages all aspects of DES from the initial receipt of reports from contributors through to the transfer of the published data onto the RCAHMS database, CANMORE. Paula also verifies data received at the RCAHMS via the Online Access to the Index of Archaeological Investigations (OASIS) and transfers data from grey literature reports received in from the archaeological community onto CANMORE. Tina Smith, Office & Membership Administrator
Tina is the first point of contact between Archaeology Scotland and the public. She is responsible for the Arc Scot membership, handling enquiries for membership application, maintaining the membership database, co-ordinating the distribution of Arc Scot publications and for liaison with our individual and affiliated members. Jonathan Wordsworth, Rural Landuse Adviser
Jonathan works with the farming and crofting communities, Agricultural Advisers, land managers, relevant Government bodies and Non Governmental Organisations to promote enhanced understanding of archaeology in the rural context.
