The Volunteer Outreach Project is funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund, the Esmee Fairbairn Foundation, the Robertson Trust and a number of other supportive trusts.

The project brings free archaeology workshops to primary and early secondary classes as well as community groups throughout Edinburgh and the Lothians.

Sessions last 1hr and are for a maximum group of approx.15 students; it is therefore expected that schools will book two sessions with at least a half hour break between them.

For more information contact the Outreach Officer, Ruth Bordoli.

Please note: we require a minimum of 1 supervising adult per workshop and access to a hall or large classroom.
